Expanse of Faith.1
These works came from an introspection of God’s vastness, contrasted with the intimate words of Scripture. As a grounding to each of the painting is a fragment from the Psalms of David. The line of text is almost a snapshot of a much large thought without showing it’s beginning or end, somewhere in the middle where you find yourself questioning and wrestling. The sky is shown in different ways almost as facets to God as power, beauty, and eternal. These works are meant to pull you in and across them, bringing into view thought and question. All within a visually timeless framework of God’s beauty and love.
